Common Problem with Barbecue Grills
A very common problem found with barbecue grills is that they are installed too close to combustible materials (i.e. wood columns, frame walls). Different grills can have different clearance requirements, but many like this one require at least 36 inches of clearance to the combustible materials. This grill can get very hot, especially if left on for an extended period of time. The grill can be moved to an acceptable location, a specifically designed heat shield can be installed between the grill and the wall or a new grill with reduce clearance requirements can be installed.
